PRACTICAL GUIDE · SALES AUTOMATION

A clever demo is a start.
Trust comes from testing.

How to test a lead-response workflow before going live. Check the awkward cases before real prospects enter your workflow.

Define a pass before you press start.

Use fictional contacts and a test inbox. Write down what the system should do for each case, then compare the actual record, draft, task, and send status.

This is a test plan. We have not run a live Shadyy workflow or measured customer results for this article.

Test the first reply.

Try a complete enquiry, a missing detail, and a question outside your services. Check that the draft uses only approved facts, asks for missing information, and flags uncertainty.

Add a duplicate enquiry. Confirm it updates the right record and does not create a second reply task by accident.

Make testing part of your Shadyy project.

A custom AI employee should have a clear job and a clear way to check its work. When exploring a Shadyy build, ask for test cases that match your business process, including the situations that need a person.

Shadyy’s automation and custom software can be scoped around a visible review queue, action history, and exception handling. Agree what must work, what remains manual, and who owns failures before launch.

Test the moment things change.

Have a fictional prospect reply just before a follow-up is due. Then test an opt-out, a booking, and a closed conversation. The queued message should be cancelled or paused according to your rules.

Disconnect a tool. Confirm that someone gets an alert and that a retry cannot send the same message twice.

Measure useful outcomes.

Record pass or fail for each test. During a small approved rollout, track response time, employee review time, substantial rewrites, missed follow-ups, and duplicate sends.

Measure bookings separately. Include tool costs and maintenance. A workflow can pass technical checks without proving a sales improvement.

Imagine knowing why your AI took the next step.

Your team should be able to see the enquiry, the draft, the approved facts, and what needs their decision. That is a useful starting point for custom AI software built around real work.

Explore Shadyy with one workflow and a clear definition of success. We can discuss an AI employee, automation, and supporting software your people can use together. Start small enough to inspect; expand when the evidence supports it.
